Short answer: Inland Empire Bookkeeper is an independent site for business owners in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, and requests go to its bookkeeping partner. The partner's bookkeepers work remotely in your QuickBooks Online or Xero file on monthly books, cleanup, catch-up and tax-ready books for your CPA. This is a bookkeeping site, not a CPA firm.

What this site is

Inland Empire Bookkeeper is an independent site for business owners in Riverside and San Bernardino counties. It explains bookkeeping in plain terms, by trade and by city, and connects owners with a bookkeeper.

When you ask to talk to a bookkeeper here, your request goes straight to our bookkeeping partner.

Who does the work

The partner's team of real bookkeepers does the work. They work remotely with Inland Empire businesses, by phone and video, inside your own QuickBooks Online or Xero file.

You will not need to drive to an office in Ontario or Riverside. Statements, questions and reports move through your software and shared folders.

What the team does

  • Monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations
  • Cleanup of books that were set up wrong
  • Catch-up for months or years that were never done
  • Tax-ready books for your CPA
  • R&D tax credit work for businesses that qualify

How a request moves

  1. Fill in the form. Tell us what the business does, the city it runs from and how far behind the books are.
  2. The partner picks it up. A bookkeeper on the partner team reads it. No answering service sits in the middle.
  3. Have a short call. Walk through the accounts, the gaps and what has to happen first.
  4. Make your choice. Hire the partner if it fits, after you know their name. Payment never runs through this site.

How the partnership works

Think of this site as the front desk. It explains the work and forwards your note. The partner's bookkeepers take it from there: the call, the review of your file and the monthly work.

Any engagement is signed between you and the partner. Their name is shared with you before you commit to anything.

How these pages are written

Every guide here covers one service, one trade or one IE city. When a page mentions a local requirement, like a city business license, it points to the government page so you can read the rule yourself.

Cities in both counties update fees and forms. Each page carries the month of its last edit. Spot something stale? Mention it in the form and the page gets corrected.

What we will not do

We will not promise a price, a result or a turnaround time on this site. Each of those depends on the state of your books, so you talk them through with a bookkeeper first.

Talk to a bookkeeper

Tell us where your books stand. A bookkeeper reads it and replies to set up a short call.

  • No cost to ask.
  • You get a real person, not a sales sequence.
  • Behind a month or a few years: we see both every week.
